I’m sorry but Kate’s entrance as Rose in Titanic is one of the classiest fucking opening scenes for any character ever.

Is that normal?

Titanic producer Jon Landau showed DiCaprio footage late last year and, by all accounts, the actor was knocked out, all over again, by his leading lady. ‘He watched the scene where Kate arrives at the dock and steps out the car and he said to me: “She’s so beautiful,” ’ Landau told me. X

Kate kept a journal while doing Titanic. Some of the journal entries have been released over time. A wonderful insight into one of our generation’s finest actress while filming the role that really established her as just that.
